Edwin I. Mudongo

Mudongo is a research coordinator at CLAWS Botswana, leading and providing guidance to field and research teams on CLAWS’ communal livestock herding and lion alert programs. Mudongo has 15 years of experience in wildlife research and monitoring, human-wildlife conflict mitigation, community engagements, and herding for health in both government (2007 – 2014) and non-governmental organizations (2015 – present). He is an author and co-author of seven peer-reviewed scientific journal articles in the fields of wildlife and rangeland management. Mudongo pioneered the first communal livestock herd to improve rangeland health and reduce conflict with wildlife in Botswana.
