I am a native of Madagascar. I received my PhD at the State University of New York USA in 2002. I am a Faculty lecturer at the University of Antananarivo I am the President of the Madagascar Primate Research Group (GERP)
I am the Co-Vice Chair - Madagascar section, IUCN/SSC Primate Specialist Group; the Director of Houston Zoo, Madagascar Program; and the President of the Madagascar Primate Research Group (GERP). I am a member of the Malagasy Academia, the African Academic of Sciences and The World Academic of Sciences. I am the President of the International Primatological Society (IPS).
