Jose Monteiro
I have been dedicated my efforts in supporting land and natural resources management initiatives in rural Mozambique. Currently, I work for ReGeCom, a national network and platform, where I collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate the standardization of approaches and tools that improve community governance and participation in biodiversity conservation. My general interest is to see people and nature thrive sustainably, and I think it can only be achieved if rural communities are brought to the center of planning and decision-making processes in development and conservation initiatives.
