Kachama Banda
I am a Senior Field Ecologist and Assistant Manager for the Zambian Carnivore Programme (ZCP), working in the Greater Kafue Ecosystem. I have been working in Kafue for the past four years, conducting research on Zambia’s large carnivores. My work also encompasses building capacity in local leadership through the running of various conservation club programmes at the local schools. I am extremely passionate about providing such opportunities to others to learn about conservation. I also offer mentorship to other aspiring conservationists through ZCP’s Conservation Biologist Training and Women in Wildilfe Conservation (WIWC) programmes.
