Kitty Brayne
Kitty joined Well Grounded in April 2023 as Co-Director: Programmes and Partnerships. In her role, Kitty is responsible for coordinating the development and delivery of Well Grounded’s programmes in the Congo Basin region, and establishing partnerships to support the mission.
Kitty’s experience supporting community-led conservation has been centred around the Western Indian Ocean region, including many years based in Comoros and Madagascar. She is now enjoying getting to know new regions in Africa! A central thread through her work to date has been supporting organisational development and leadership within programme teams, community-based organisations and civil society networks, and she is passionate about shifting power in the sector towards local organisations and leaders.
