Mercy Marende
Mercy M. Marende, a Kenyan wildlife management graduate, is a Project Coordinator at Kwetu Training Centre for Sustainable Development. She currently oversees the environment department and project implementation at the Kenyan coast with a keen interest in developing leadership in socio-economic matters. She is passionate about community development, social change by addressing pressing social issues and promoting equity, diversity, or environmental stewardship. She is also a member of the Forest Restoration Agency, a local network restoring mangrove ecosystems in Kenya's Coastal Creeks. She enjoys community service, volunteering, learning, sharing knowledge with diverse groups and outdoor activities.
