The Forum brings together a unique group of African conservation leaders and select external supporters to foster learning, collaboration, and collective action, so we can all do our work even better.
The Focus
Revisioning the possibilities of partnerships and power for greater collective conservation impact. We want to find ways to improve the system we are a part of, particularly regarding power, money, and partnerships.
The Goal
Through sharing perspectives, ideas, and experiences, we want to harness the power of the collective to improve partnerships and power dynamics between local African CSOs, international NGOs, and donors. Ultimately, we want to co-create solutions that can help improve our system and lead to greater conservation success.

The Organizers & Funding Partners
The Forum is co-created by African conservation leaders, Maliasili and the event’s funding partners Blue Ventures, The Nature Conservancy, Tusk Trust, and the Wildlife Conservation Network.
Thanks to their generous support, we are able to provide for participation for all invited African conservation leaders. Additional support is also provided by Liz Claiborne & Art Ortenberg Foundation and the BAND Foundation.
