This day will introduce the concept of power, the key theme for the Forum. The core of our leadership approach begins with ‘Leading Self,’ and this day will focus on exploring individual power and agency. We will map out the system in which community conservation exists and how we locate ourselves within this system. Systems cannot transform or shift without people understanding the power we hold, the systems that hold power over us, and how we are impacted by and can shift these systems. This will set the stage for discussions and rapid fire leadership journey talks about the internal barriers that prevent or promote our success in exercising our power within the conservation landscape.
