Joana Trindade
Joana is a Portfolio Manager with Maliasili’s Southern Africa team. Joana was born in Mozambique and developed a passion for nature from a very young age. Having spent the beginning of her career working with Marine Conversation, Joana soon realized our biggest asset in conservation is people. After participating in Maliasili’s African Marine Leadership Program, Joana joined the team to lead the work in Mozambique, Angola and Zambia. Joana thrives on connecting with people and helping think through solutions and unlock opportunities for their work. Joana’s happy place is the ocean, but she is content exploring nature anywhere, anytime.
