Judy Gachathi
Judy has an extensive experience in events management. Striking a balance between strategic vision and execution, she draws on her 20 years of experience working in the academic and Not-for-profit sectors in direct program administration, implementation, and management in the UK and in Kenya. She has worked with grassroots and national organizations in supporting their Institutional strengthening through Organizational Development initiatives. She appreciates and advocates for good governance and strong organizations in creating a lasting impact while using participatory methods to deliver community interventions. Her hospitality background and interest in planning events led her to join Maliasili as the events and logistics manager in 2022. As part of her work, she successfully supported partners and staff attending the APAC event in Kigali in 2022. She has organized two Maliasili team retreats and supported the logistics for Maliasili leadership workshops.
