Nicky McLeod
Co-director and co-founder of a social enterprise NGO called ERS (Environmental & Rural Solutions) based in the rural southern Drakensberg mountains of South Africa. We facilitate sustainable natural resource actions which enhance resilient livelihoods for marginalised residents of this strategic water source area. We empower rural people to achieve water security by protecting springs, managing alien vegetation, stewarding their rangelands, promoting green business value chains, and convening strong partnerships to enhance impactful collaboration.
ERS received the WWF Living Planet award in 2019 and is regularly invited as a keynote speaker.
